4. Deliver signed waivers to Station Manager prior to or upon arrival.

There are hard-copies in all bed spaces. You are expected to abide by these guidelines during your stay. Any conflicts or misunderstandings will be resolved according to this information.

Sagehen's staff works productively with very tight resources, our discretionary operating funds & outreach program funds coming solely from user fees, grants & community donations.

Those who would like to support Sagehen's mission of promoting research, education & community outreach can donate securely online.

You can donate to Sagehen generally, or specifically to our Graduate Student Research Fund or to the Adventure - Risk - Challenge Program Fund.

Animal Research Permits...

UCB Animal Care & Use

Note: Protocol approvals are to be submitted both to the Station Manager and the UC Berkeley Animal Care and Use Committee (ACUC) and approval must be in hand prior to any work beginning!

Other agencies, i.e. US Fish & Wildlife Service, CA Dept. of Fish & Game, etc., may have additional permitting requirements. Researchers are responsible for seeking out & fulfilling these additional requirements. Copies of any additional permits must also be submitted to Sagehen prior to work beginning.

• Sagehen (the 1.8-mile access road from the highway)

• Tahoe-Truckee Highway cams
• Squaw High Camp Cam: conditions in the mountains on the Sagehen side of the crest at 8200'. Sagehen's major facilites lie at 6300'. The basin tops out at 8500'.
